Last month we received reports that some of our customers and suppliers had received emails with content that appeared to be from Valleys to Coast but were not sent from our email address.
As soon as we became aware of this matter, we immediately took action, investigating the matter using a team of independent experts. Their work has now been completed and the conclusion is that there is no evidence to suggest that our internal network was accessed, and it is highly unlikely that any data has been removed.
As customers and suppliers you don't need to do anything, but we ask that should you be unsure about any emails you receive requesting personal or business data, you seek advice before responding.
