From calling the ball's and checking the call's,
Makes it all very clear

Local Tenant Participation Strategy 2011-2014 Consultation
V2C are required by Welsh Government to submit a new tenant participation strategy and action plan by the end of October 2011.
This outlines the way in which over the next 3 years V2C will develop ways in which you can get involved and share your view with us.
A group of tenants and staff have been developing the draft documents over the last few months and now we need your views and comments to see if you agree with our plans. Please can you send any comments to marie.kiff@v2c.org.uk by the 19th October so we can include them in the final document.
As a guide we are looking for your comments on the following questions:
Do you agree with the themes/objectives of the strategy?
Do you have any comments about other sections of the strategy?
Do you think the actions under each theme will give us the results we hope for?
Do you have any other ideas for actions which you think should be included?
Do you think the information in these two documents will take participation forward at V2C?
What is the best way for V2C to share this information and the results of these actions with tenants?
Any other comments about the documents?
If you have any further questions please contact Marie Kiff on 01656 762487.

Water Efficiency Project
Valleys to Coast together with Welsh Water, Energy Saving Trust, Environment Agency Wales, Aqua Logic and Wales and West are involved in a water saving project. Tenants with water meters are offered water saving advice by Welsh Water.
This involves tenants changing behaviours (such as turning the tap off when brushing teeth, doing washing in a full load etc). They use a laptop with a programme which calculates the possible cash savings.
Tenants with water meters, who have had the MIP are likely to receive a letter explaining the project. They can then phone for an interview (or opt out completely). As Welsh Water work in an area they will knock on every metered, refurbished home.
We are also hoping to incorporate water saving devises (eg dual flush toilets) into our MIP works in the future.
If you have any queries please call 0300 123 2100 and ask for Kath Hopes or Lindsey Barrett.
