New Applications
There are two ways in which you can be housed by V2C, either by applying directly to us or by applying to Bridgend County Borough Council’s Housing Register. However, you should note that three quarters of all our available homes are allocated to applicants nominated by the Council from their housing register. Only one quarter of our homes are allocated to applicants who have only applied directly to us.
Direct Applications
You can apply directly to V2C by visiting our Customer Service Centre which we advise you to do as this will speed up your application and enable us to discuss your housing needs with you. If you are unable to visit the Customer Service Centre then please download and print an application form from the left hand side of this page and send it to -
Valleys To Coast Housing,
Customer Service Centre,
Nolton Court,
Bridgend,

How we assess applications and allocate our homes
We assess applications based on housing need using a points system. When a property becomes available we offer it to the applicant with the highest points for the area. We can tell you how many points you have been awarded but not where you are on the waiting list. This is because our waiting list changes on a daily basis as new applications are received.
Applying through Bridgend County Borough Council
You can apply to the Council’s Housing Register by contacting :-
Bridgend County Borough Council
Housing and Community Regeneration
Civic Offices,
Angel Street
Bridgend.
CF314WB
We advise you to do this even if you have applied directly to us because at least 75% of our total yearly lettings are offered to people nominated by the Council. The Council can also nominate you to other housing associations that have homes to let in the Bridgend area.
If you are homeless or threatened with homelessness you must contact the Council.
