Information Leaflets
We are improving in excess of 6,000 homes in a diverse mixture of valley and town locations. The homes are a mixture of houses, bungalows, sheltered accommodation and low rise flats. We also provide management services to leaseholders.
Valleys to Coast Housing (V2C) homes are available to people in need. V2C will provide accommodation which is good quality, comfortable, in places where people want to live, at an affordable price and which has the potential to meet their needs over the long term.
V2C will share the responsibility for maintaining your home but there are some things which will remain your responsibility. Some of these items are detailed in Page 23 of your Tenants Handbook but, if you have any doubts then please contact us. We may be able to do some of these repairs for you if you are elderly or disabled or put you in touch with someone who can.
V2C recognises the importance of listening to, and dealing positively with, complaints about our services. We encourage customers to make their views known and will use information gained in this way to improve services.
Prior to the transfer of stock from Bridgend County Borough Council, and in consultation with tenants, a decision was taken to adopt Starter Tenancies for all new tenants (sometimes referred to as Assured Shorthold tenancies). As a result all new tenancies granted by Valleys to Coast (V2C) will be Starter Tenancies and will normally be for a period of 12 months unless the tenant was previously an Introductory or Starter tenant of another social landlord immediately prior to becoming a V2C tenant.
