First Winner of our Clear and Clean Incentive Scheme

Laura Maddern is the first of our customers to receive £100 for implementing our Clear and Clean incentive scheme. Laura recently moved to another property and as she left her former property in good condition she qualified for the scheme.

Unfortunately 69% of people who moved last year did so without giving V2C the necessary 4 weeks notice and many of these people left rubbish in the property that V2C had to pay to have cleared (around £100 per property). Add to this the cost of unnecessary repairs then these former tenants often end up being chased for debts in excess of £250.

In order to qualify for the grant of £100 you would need to:-

  • Give 4 weeks notice in writing.

  • Allow an officer to inspect the property during the 4 weeks.

  • Carry out any repairs that you are responsible for (as identified by the inspecting officer).

  • Hand the keys in on the agreed date leaving the property clean and clear.

  • Have no outstanding debts on your tenancy.

  • Have allowed V2C access to your property to service your heating appliance.
